Integration Course
The Integration course is there for the foreigners to learn the German language in a little reduced price than for the normal people. The Integration course consists of Language course and an Orientation Course. The Language course providers perform the Assessment test before the enrollment which determines the module you should begin with. In the language course, participants will learn about everyday life, including topics as shopping and living, health, job and profession. Furthermore, they will learn how to write letters and e-mails in German, complete forms and apply for a job. After the language course, an orientation course of 60 hours is added in which participants will learn about German culture, history and the legal system.
Cost of the Course
- The Integration Course costs € 1,55 per tuition unit. 100 hours, i.e. € 155 must be paid in advance on registration.
- You can be exempted from contributing to costs if you receive unemployment benefit II or social assistance, or if you find it difficult to pay the contribution because of your low income.
- If you have attended lessons according to the rules and have used up your full quota of lessons on the integration course but have not attained language level B1 in the language section of the final examination, you can apply to repeat 300 lessons on a one-off basis.
